I was born in ’86 and grew up in England playing football. I moved to NZ aged 10 and continued playing football to a high level (by NZ standards) making the NZ national development academy in ’99 and ’00.

I joined the army in 2003 as a rifleman. After a 6 month deployment to East Timor in 2007 I took a years leave and traveled around USA, Europe and North Africa. Upon going back to the Army in 2008 I decided I wanted to become a military fitness instructor. 2009 I successfully passed my Physical Trainer Course with Distinction and Top Student Honors. With that I got posted to the NZ Special Forces Camp as a Physical Trainer.

I left the Army in 2010 and started formulating business plans around my skill set. In 2011 I found CrossFit. Thanks to Luke and Mudz, two other military physical trainers who invited me to join them and open Mount CrossFit, a high performance CrossFit facility.

Throughout life I have read books written by unique people. I have an wealth of experience that I wish to share with you so that you can live the best life possible no matter what you are trying to achieve. The formulas are simple. You just need to follow them. I have learned some of the most valuable lessons that a lot of people go through life never learning. All of these experiences can be easily summed up with simple principles. I hope this website will give you the answers to lead the life you dream of.
