Nutrition and training must be synergistic!!
NUTRITION—————————————————————————————–
I’m sure you have heard of thousands of diets that claim to work and get results. And it’s true, there are lots that work…. But… work for what? Everyone has a different goal in mind and there is no one size fits all when it comes to nutrition!! So… where does that leave you?
It ALL comes down to your goal. Without an end goal you don’t know which path to take. So first you must be clear on your goal. Then there are options which best suit you desired path! And of course every option has pro’s and con’s.
Common goals include weight loss and toning, muscle gain, and eating for performance. Every aspect is debatable and you must choose for yourself which suits you. I can promise you one thing for sure. There is no wonder diet. Consistency is the key.
If you want a good base diet that will get you super healthy, lean, and in a good zone for performance then do some research into paleo/primal eating. Here is a link to get you started.

TRAINING——————————————————————————————-
As I always say, in life, everything you do comes back to your goal. Without a definite goal you will end up running around in circles.
Your training program must match your goal. I have trained people with many different goals and who are involved in many sports. The most common goals are weight loss, closely followed by general health & fitness, then sport specific and muscle building.
Unless you are a specialist athlete, CrossFit is bar none the best training system in the world. If you have not tried it I strongly urge you to get to your nearest CrossFit affiliate for an introduction. You will never look back! Here is a link to a map of every CrossFit in the world.
Training is a science. And unless people live and breathe it then you can be sure they will not have the best answer for you.
